Bike trails Arnhem Nijmegen region

Commissioned by the Regional Tourist Board as part of the provincial Limes program, GOBT in collaboration with Ulpia Tekstproducties and Marc Kocken (with ADC Heritage) produced three bicycle trails with the theme Romans and Batavians.

The cycling route ‘De Keizer te Rijk’ runs through the southeastern part of the Nijmegen area. The cycling route ‘Een oase tussen de klei’ runs through Wijchen and surroundings. The third route ‘Op de grens van het Rijk’ takes you literally to the border of the Roman Empire along the Limes, around Zevenaar and Millingen.
